Composite Decking with Pressure Treated Framing

At Casa Decks, all deck surfaces are built using high-quality composite decking. We do not build decks surfaced with pressure-treated wood.

While pressure-treated lumber remains the industry standard for deck framing and structural components, we no longer use it for deck surfaces. Over time, pressure-treated decking requires frequent maintenance and does not offer the longevity we expect from our work.

Simply put, pressure-treated decking does not last long enough for us to confidently warranty it — and we don’t build anything we can’t stand behind.

For this reason, every deck we build features:

  • Composite decking for the visible surface

  • Pressure-treated lumber for the underlying structure

This approach allows us to deliver decks that are durable, low-maintenance, and built to last, while meeting structural requirements and maintaining the quality standards our clients expect.

Composite decking resists rot, warping, splintering, and fading far better than traditional wood decking, making it the most reliable long-term solution for coastal and high-exposure environments.

By combining composite decking with pressure-treated framing, Casa Decks builds decks that are both structurally sound and fully warranty-backed — without compromise.

“I wish I could give a grade of A++. It was an absolute dream working with George. He is incredibly professional, always on time, and updated us weekly on the location ofmaterials, building permits, etc. In terms of the work provided, the deck looks FANTASTIC. Our neighbors have stopped by to comment on how great the deck looks.I highly recommend Casa Decks!”
